FIK UMJ (Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta)
"Let's practice your English", is the other motivation words for the
students who learn English. Among ways to practice the language is by
having an exhibition where other people can come and visit to their
booths and have opportunities to talk, answer and share their ideas and
knowledge in English.
There are many ways to practice English besides sitting down in class and listening to the teacher's explanation. However, on this occasion, students are free to share their ideas and creativity in English.
This is a good challenge for every student to show their self confidence, give free style to send their messages to the public and to practice their English.
Students are free to come and visit the other group's booth and do some activities like asking questions, give their opinions on the topic or answer the questions.
Lecturers, on the other hand, could take part on this occasion to talk and experience the dialog session and evaluate students' speaking performance. This golden time show that the students are self confident to face and talk with their own lecturers without hesitation. They have to explain and answer the lecturer's question and also share opinion based on their knowledge.
Here we are showing our talent in Speaking English in free and relaxed way through an exciting event as well as showing students' art performance. This will give good and positive moment and prove that examination is not always sitting down in chairs for hours and feel stress when completing the test.
The activity is fun and relax that students will find their ease situation to have opportunities to meet different kinds of professionals and have good experience to be part of their life.
